tinkering shed
One of the structures on the property that we have been working on is a cute lil shed. It was quite a disaster when we first started but after cleaning out all the stuff it has become a nice studio space to work. I love working in here because it makes me feel like a grandpa. If I only had a pair of overalls and a pipe.

we're going to visit an alpaca farm this weekend!
i hope to start a family of alpacas soon. i’ve been looking at them for years on this site: http://www.alpacafarm.com/. buuuut… i recently discovered that they can be purchased for a minimum of $150!!! this really wets my whistle! my dreams were crushed because i thought they were all as expensive as drama queen:

i want to build one of these and stay in it for a while. wigwams can withstand the harshest of weather… native americans stayed in these when it was too cold for a tepee. maybe this could be our winter dwelling. it also kinda looks like a haircut i recently had… time for a trim!
our right hand man
we love our friend Marcel. He is the raddest dude alive. He always helps us when we are in need. He is the best collaborator and inspiration two girls could have.
i mean…. look at that accuracy!!! amazing!
Whats even better is that he is a part of one of the raddest online mags out there too!!
Check out Working Class Magazine and maybe you too will be swooned by the magic of marcy.

we are in love with tepees and pretty much anything done by the native american indians.
it is so rad to think that we could all build our own homes from what is available on the land around us

guess who's back...!
hola! welcome to our new blog! we finally realized that the reason we couldn’t keep up with our daily blog was not simply because we are lazy but because we didn’t know how to navigate wordpress (so maybe we are just computer illiterate! ah!)
but we’re back and ready to show you work from the past six months or more. for those who don’t know… domestic...
another old one
this was a bedroom for a client near union square. they wanted a room designed from their wall hanging and bedspread… this is what we gave them.
kitchen
we finally found some use for all the little circles we cut out for our teacup lights… we also got to break some plates to supplement which is always therapeutic.

applefest
we had a booth at applefest in warwick, ny! we built our booth from sticks from a tepee we had previously made. we’re told they are more like logs than sticks!?
